Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Thuto Notes handles your information.

1. Information We Collect

Thuto Notes stores your notes, quizzes, and learning progress locally on your device using secure local storage (AsyncStorage).

We do not require account registration or collect personally identifiable information (PII).

When you use the AI note generation feature, the topic and subject you enter are temporarily sent to a third-party AI service (Groq API) to generate study content. This data is not stored by us.

We also collect feedback you submit through the app. This feedback may include your message and optional name, and is stored securely in Firebase Firestore.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only to:

• Generate AI-powered study notes
• Improve app functionality through feedback
• Store your learning progress locally on your device

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

3. Data Sharing

We do not use your data for profiling. Ads are served by Google AdMob — see Section 3b below.

• Groq AI (for generating study content)
• Firebase (for storing feedback messages)
